I had the privilege of photographing the start of their parenthood journey last spring when I took their pregnancy announcement photographs, so it was extra special to come back and do an in-home newborn session with the Kissell family.
When I think about life 30 years from now I hope to remember the way my daughter gives the biggest neck squeezes as hugs, the way she tries so desperately not to smile and laugh when my husband tickles her, or that she still wants to cuddle and snuggle with us at the end of the day. These moments are so ordinary. They happen every single day – and they’re just so important to document. I know just how fast time flies by and I’m going to do everything I can to be able to bring myself back to each special memory.
Insert in-home sessions and why I just can’t get enough of them! Babies don’t keep. They grow up, right in front of your face. It happens quickly and then next thing you know you’ll be sending them off to college. Find someone to come and capture the little things, the ordinary day to day fun, the moments that you’ll want to relive over and over as the years press on.
